The Best Way To Remove Pet Hair From Your Couch

If only I had a penny for every time somebody stops me on the street, points to my beloved sidekick Buttercup, and says “She’s so fluffy!” (Let’s make that a dollar actually, cause let’s be real… times are hard).

I love my dog’s fur. It’s soft, and cuddly, and somehow incredibly shiny. However, with all that luscious fur, you bet there is a lot of shedding. Especially in the early summer and winter months, BC’s fur falls out in clumps, I kid you not. She’ll be shaking after a walk and will leave 3 or 4 clumps of her fur on the floor for me to pick up. It’s a nightmare to keep up with.

I am happy to share that I have found the absolute best tool to pick up pet hair from a couch: a squeegee!

Even if you were to use it on its own, the squeegee will gather most of the fur from any surface making it easy for you to pick up with your hands, but I like to use it as a loosener before I vacuum. This little hack works like a charm!
